Route 19 Crossover Postponed

The long-term crossover was scheduled to begin Friday.

PITTSBURGH, PA - PennDOT has postponed a major traffic change will planed Friday on Route
19-Saw Mill Run Boulevard in Duquesne Heights. The agency had planned to switch to a long-term crossover pattern that will be in effect through late June.

PennDOT said the work will be rescheduled, but did not say when. No reason was given for the postponement.

When the crossover occurs, northbound traffic will be crossed over into the southbound lanes just north of the Shaler Street bridge. A single 11-foot lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction of Saw Mill Run in the southbound lanes.
