ScareHouse Returns This Year At New Location

TARENTUM, PA — After taking a year off to find a new home, the shrieks are returning to ScareHouse this year. The popular Halloween attraction, rated one of America's scariest by the Travel Channel, is moving to the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills.

ScareHouse announced the move on its Facebook page.

"You know that Pittsburgh Zombies love shopping malls – and we think you will love our new, larger, and permanent home inside The Pittsburgh Mills," the post stated. "No more parking hassles and no more long lines in 2020."

Tickets are now available on the ScareHouse website. The attraction will be open from Sept. 25 to Nov. 14 this year.

Nightly attendance will be carefully limited to 50 percent of its normal occupancy, and each group will be private. Maximum group size is six.

The following coronavirus precautions will be in place

• All guests must wear face coverings per state, county, and CDC guidelines.

• Guests must maintain six-foot distance from other groups and ScareHouse staff while on premises

• No-touch hand-sanitizing stations will be provided, along with public restrooms.

• ScareHouse advises purchasing tickets in advance to ensure the best price and that your selected evening is not sold out.

• Guests must follow all signs and instructions from ScareHouse team members.

Anyone who does not follow these guidelines will be asked to leave immediately
