School Bus Altercation Between Cops, Girl Caught On Video

The incident occurred as officers responded to an incident on the school bus.

WEST MIFFLIN, PA - A school bus fight last month involving a West Mifflin High School student has resulted in charges being filed against the 15-year-old girl, but her attorney is calling for charges to be filed against the police officers who broke up the altercation.

The girl's family hired civil rights attorney Paul Jubas, who in an Instagram post also called for the firing of West Mifflin Sgt. Christopher Mordaunt and Officer Tommy Trieu for what he termed a brutal assault.

"They sprayed her blood all over her fellow students and incited riot-like conditions on a school bus," Jubas alleged. "Everything was calm on this bus until these officers began their vicious assault."

Jubas also posted a video of the incident on Instagram.

The West Mifflin School District solicitor has defended the officers' actions to several media outlets. The West Mifflin police chief has declined to comment on the video, as has the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office.
