Search Continues For Missing Pittsburgh Restaurant Worker
A Pittsburgh restaurant worker and recent refugee has been missing for nearly a week, police said.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh police are asking for assistance in locating a recent Sudanese refugee and restaurant worker who has been missing for nearly a week.
Mohamed Elhadi Mohamed is described as 5 feet, five inches tall. He weights about 140 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen on May 22 around 11 p.m. in the 300 block of Sampsonia Street in the Central North Side neighborhood.
Mohamed works at the 40 North restaurant on West North Avenue on the North Side.

"Neither we nor his family have heard from him. We're all worried sick here," a post on the eatery's Facebook page stated.
"Mohammed is an amazing person who has been working with us since June 2023, when he moved to Pittsburgh from Sudan. He started as a dishwasher and has worked his way up to cook."
