Second Pittsburgh School Closes Due To Coronavirus Concerns
The closures have occurred in two different school districts Thursday.
SWISSVALE, PA - Woodland Hills Intermediate School has been closed effective immediately because of potential exposure to the coronavirus, the Woodland Hills School District announced.
The closure is occurring because of a potential student's interaction with a staff member of Pittsburgh Colfax K-8. That school is closed Thursday because a student might have been exposed to the coronavirus from a relative outside of school.
Woodland Hills plans to disinfect the intermediate school and reopen it on March 17.
