Seth Rogen To Film New Movie In Pittsburgh

Find out here when the prolific movie star is due in town.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Tom Hanks has been spotted around town lately as he films the upcoming movie based on the life of Pittsburgh’s own Mr. Rogers. Don’t be surprised if Seth Rogen similarly is seen around the city soon.

Rogen will begin filming his new movie in Pittsburgh in October, according to a Variety report. The as-yet untitled project stars Rogen as an early 20th century pickle maker who falls into a vat of pickles and is brined and preserved for the next century. He emerges in modern-day Brooklyn and meets his great-grandson, who also will be played by Rogen.

Rogen most recently appeared in “Like Father,” a comedy released in August that also starrted Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer.
