Severe Storms Are Pittsburgh-Bound, Weather Service Says
If you're outside right now in the Pittsburgh area, perhaps you should change that and move indoors. Heavy storms are on the way.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Severe thunderstorms are on the way to Pittsburgh and its suburban communities.
The National Weather Service says to expect the storms to have up to 60 mph wind gusts and small hail. Also anticipate damage to roofs, siding and trees.
The locations expected to be impacted by the storms include Pittsburgh, Ross, McCandless, Cranberry, Moon, Butler, Franklin Park, Aliquippa, Shaler, Hampton and Scott.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch, which was issued earlier, remains in effect for all of Western Pennsylvania until 8 p.m.
