Shake Shack Coming To Pittsburgh In 2024

PITTSBURGH, PA — Shake Shack will be culinarily shaking things up in the city next year. The popular restaurant chain will open its first Pittsburgh location in The Terminal in the Strip District.

Initially founded as a hot dog stand in 2001, Shake Shack now has more than 400 locations globally. The chain has a dozen other locations in Pennsylvania, most of which are in the Philadelphia area.

“Pittsburgh friends - we know it’s taken far too long to bring Shake Shack to this dynamic city,” Andrew McCaughan, Shake Shack chief development officer, said in a release..

“We are thrilled to land the first Shake Shack in the Steel City at The Terminal in the iconic Strip District. We can’t wait to open our doors, welcome the community and serve our delicious, freshly made burgers and shakes in 2024.”
