Shatner & Stars, Pens-Islanders Top Pittsburgh Weekend Events
Patch presents a variety of fun activities to keep you occupied this weekend.

PITTSBURGH, PA - It's not often you see celebrities such as William Shatner, Corey Feldman, Rob Schenider, Barry Bostwick, Karen Allen and virtually the entire cast of "The Office" under one roof.
But that’ll be the case this weekend at Steel City Con, and guess who else will be there? Try Judge Reinhold, Tom Berenger, Walter Koenig and many others who are or once were famous.
So take advantage of this rare opportunity and also peruse the offerings at the more than 750 vendor tables. Comics, toys and other collectibles will be on sale.

Steel City Con takes place at the Monroeville Convention Center April 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and April 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- Penguins vs. New York Islanders, April 14, 12 p.m., PPG Paints Arena
Game three of this NHL first-round playoff series will be the first played in Pittsburgh. No tickets? No problem. The Pens once again will have the big screen outside of the arena, although it’s been moved to a new location this year. To find out where, click on the link.
- "Come from Away," April 11, 7:30 p.m.; April 12, 8 p.m.; April 13, 2 and 8 p.m.; April 14, 1 and 6:30 p.m., Benedum Center.

Tekko is a regional anime, gaming, fashion, music and Japanese pop culture convention presented by the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society annually. It's the place to be for manga, video games, cosplay, J-rock and J-fashion.
- Mother of All Pottery Sales 2019, April 14, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Union Project, Highland Park.
Come celebrate all things clay at the largest one-day clay celebration in Pittsburgh. The event brings talented ceramic artists and pottery lovers together under one roof for hands-on activities in the studio, a live demonstration from professional ceramic artists, a clay activity in the studio and a sale featuring locally made pottery from the region's top ceramic artists.
