Sheetz Not Opening Location In Pittsburgh City Limits
Despite information to the contrary, Sheetz isn't about to build a gas station and convenience store in a Pittsburgh location.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Where the signs came from remains a mystery. But their claim that Sheetz is about to build its first location within Pittsburgh city limits is false.
The signs were posted over the weekend at the fenced-in site of a former Marathon gas station on Forbes Avenue near the University of Pittsburgh campus. But a Sheetz spokesman told The Pitt News that the Altoona-based convenience store chain has no intention of building on the property.
If you go to Pitt, you know about the “Sheetz vs. Wawa'' debate. While everyone has their own view as to which one’s better, one thing’s certain — a Sheetz is not coming to Oakland.https://t.co/cFMSScqTjO

Don't despair, Sheetz fans. There are more than two dozen Sheetz stores in Allegheny County, but not one within the city.
