Sheetz Won't Hire Employees With Terrible Teeth
The Altoona-based convenience store chain also won't indefinitely tolerate workers who develop dental problems.

ALTOONA, PA — Convenience store chain Sheetz is reviewing a policy that prohibits the hiring of people with teeth problems.
The company's employee handbook states that job applicants with missing, broken or badly discolored teeth "are not qualified for employment with Sheetz," Business Insider reported.
Some Sheetz employees refer to the good teeth mandate as the "smile requirement."

The handbook specifically states that if a worker develops dental issues limiting their ability to display a complete smile that Sheetz will not permit those issues to continue indefinitely.
Sheetz told Business Insider that it would evaluate its policy after the website contacted the chain about it.

The Sheetz website states the the company has promised "to create a more inclusive and equitable culture that benefits our stores, employees, and our communities.
