Shots Fired At Pittsburgh-Area Strip Mall

Gunfire erupted Tuesday night at a popular Pittsburgh area shopping center.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are searching for a suspect after shots rang out in a North Hills Village parking lot Tuesday night. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. near Target, police said.

Although multiple shots were fired, no injuries were reported.

Ross police said that the situation involved a dispute between two people that previously were romantically involved and ran into each other at the shopping center. The dispute started verbally and then escalated into gunfire.

A suspect was identified by the victim and other witnesses, but no arrest had been reported as of Wednesday morning.
