Six Allstate agency owners and financial specialists earn $6,000 grant for Pittsburgh’s Our Clubhouse
The Allstate Foundation grant to support nonprofit's work to support people living with cancer

PITTSBURGH, October 17 – Six Allstate agency owners and financial specialists from the Pittsburgh area recently came together to secure a $6,000 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands® grant to benefit Our Clubhouse. The grant will support the nonprofit organization’s mission to create welcoming communities of support for everyone currently living with cancer – men, women, teens, and children -- along with their families and friends. Our Clubhouse provides networking and support groups, workshops, education and social activities at no cost.
The agency owners and financial specialists each earned $1,000 for Our Clubhouse by volunteering at the organization’s 8th annual Our Glass is Half Full wine tasting led by Marty Randal, an Allstate agency owner in Pittsburgh. Randal, a childhood cancer survivor and Our Clubhouse board member, worked with a group of family and friends to create the Our Glass is Half Full fundraiser, raising nearly $100,000 for the nonprofit since 2010. Our Clubhouse will use the $6,000 grant to further its work in the community.
The participating Allstate agency owners and financial specialists are among thousands of agency owners and financial specialists around the country working to strengthen communities by volunteering their time to support the causes they care about most.

Giving back is core to who we are, which is why we’re proud to volunteer and raise funds to improve the lives of people across the Pittsburgh area.”
Our Clubhouse is one of thousands of organizations this year to receive Allstate Foundation Helping Hands grants secured by agency owners and financial specialists on behalf of the nonprofits where they volunteer.
