Southwest Greensburg Fire Department to Host Annual Halloween Parade
SWGFD is hosting its annual Halloween Parade on Oct. 31 and will past out treats to registered participants following the parade.
Southwest Greensburg Fire Department is calling all monsters, superheroes, princesses and the like to participate in its annual Halloween Parade on Monday, Oct. 31.
Registration begins at 5 p.m. at Amos K. Hutchinson Elementary, 801 Welty Street. The parade starts at 5:30 p.m. and will follow the normal route through the borough.
At the end of the parade, Southwest Greensburg Fire Department volunteer firefighters will pass out treat bags to all registered participants at the fire station located at 401 Guthrie Street.

Borough Trick-or-Treat will begin after the parade from 6 to 8 p.m. During that time, trick-or-treaters and their families are encouraged to stop by the Southwest Greensburg Fire Department.
“We are looking forward to this event as an opportunity to bring the community together for a fun night of trick-or-treating,” said Southwest Greensburg Fire Department Chief Bill Wright Jr.
