PITTSBURGH, PA — A major grocery chain is about to expand its Pittsburgh presence.
The Fresh Market next week will open its second location in the Pittsburgh area on Centre Avenue in Shadyside in the space formerly occupied by Whole Foods.
The Whole Foods store moved to an East Liberty Location four years ago.

The Fresh Market currently operates 172 stores in 22 states, according to its website.
The specialty grocery store currently has a location in Mt. Lebanon.
