PITTSBURGH, PA — The Steelers will open the 2023 season at home, the first time that's happened in nine years. The NFL released the entire league schedule Thursday, and the Steelers will battle the San Francisco 49ers in the opening game Sept. 10 at Acrisure Stadium.

The Steelers also will be featured twice on Thursday Night Football and once each on Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football.

The Steelers will make three trips to the West Coast, against the Las Vegas Raiders, Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.

The season closes with games against two divisional opponents in the last three weeks: the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.

That likely will be a difficult end to the season, as the Bengals and Ravens both finished ahead of the Steelers last year. But there is ample time to build a cushion; they have the 7th-easiest schedule in the NFL, according to CBS Sports.
