Steelers-Bills NFL Playoff Game Postponed

A blizzard has forced the postponement of the Steelers-Bills game scheduled for Sunday. Find out here when the game will be played.

BUFFALO, NY — The Steelers' playoff game against the Buffalo Bills scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday has been moved to 4:30 p.m. on Monday because of blizzard conditions moving into the Buffalo area.

The move was announced Saturday by New York Gov. Kathy Hochul following conversations with
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, emergency response teams and the Bills.

According to the National Weather Service, heavy lake effect snow and very strong winds are expected in the Buffalo area. As much as three feet of snow is anticipated, as well as winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

A travel ban in the Buffalo area will go into effect at 9 p.m. Saturday.

According to ESPN, this is the first NFL playoff game to be postponed because of weather since the Steelers' 2016 divisional-round game in Kansas City.
