Steelers Coach Mike Tomlin Addresses Assistant's Sudden Death
Wide receivers coach Daryl Drake passed away suddenly on Sunday at age 62.

PITTSBURGH, PA - A somber Mike Tomlin addressed the media Tuesday for the first time since wide receivers coach Daryl Drake was found dead in his dormitory room Sunday the the team's training camp at St. Vincent College in Latrobe.
"Obviously, we're all devastated," Tomlin told reporters. "I really can't think of any other words...professionally this loss is significant, but personally it's even bigger."
Tomlin said the team brought in grief counselors and was attempting to be supportive of Drake's family.

An autopsy was performed Monday. The Westmoreland County Coroner's Office said there would be no official ruling on a cause of death pending the results of toxicology tests.
Drake, 62, joined the Steelers in 2018. He was entering his second season with the team.
