PITTSBURGH, PA — When the Steelers last played the Philadephia Eagles in 2020, they put 38 points on the scoreboard. Now, 38 points almost a month's output for the beleaguered Steelers offense.

After losing last week in ugly fashion to the Miami Dolphins, thanks largely to two fourth-quarter interceptions by rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett, the Steelers travel to Philadelphia to play the NFL's only remaining unbeaten team.

Sigh.

There is much not to like about this matchup. The Eagles are well-rested as they come of their bye last week. The Steelers defense finally played well last week, but on Sunday the unit will have to try to contain fleet-footed quarterback Jalen Hurts. The Eagles will bring the league's fourth-ranked defense to try to stop a Steelers offense that has rented lodgings in Struggle City all season.

How bad is this season? The Steelers likely will be underdogs next week, even though they don't play.
