Steelers Major Heinz Field Addition Plans Advancing
The addition is expected to be completed before the start of next football season.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Steelers are advancing plans for a major addition to Heinz Field that should be completed in time for the 2020 football season. Team officials and Kolano Design are scheduled to bring the Pittsburgh Planning Commission on the project Tuesday.
The Steelers plan to modify the stadium's FedEx Great Hall, relocate the Steelers ticket window and office are and build a new Steelers flagship store. The expansion is expected to be the largest addition to the stadium since it opened in 2001 and is anticipated to cost as much as $13 million.
The Steelers are picking up the construction costs for the 12,ooo-square-foot store, which is expected to be open year-round. It will be located along Art Rooney Avenue.
