Steelers Make Major Trade

The Steelers are addressing a glaring need via a trade.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Steelers apparently have solved their years-long problem for a number two wide receiver.

The team is acquiring Michael Pittman Jr. from the Indianapolis Colts, according to multiple reports.

According to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the Steelers are giving Pittman a three-year, $59 million contract as part of the deal.

The trade has not been officially announced, but the Steelers and Colts and believed to be exchanging late-round draft picks in the deal.

Pittman will pair with starting wide receiver DK Metcalf to give the Steelers a potentially potent one-two punch at the wide receiver position.

Last season, Pittman had 80 catches for 784 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns.
