Steelers Mulling Bell Trade; Which Teams Likely Will Target Him?
The Steelers reportedly are willing to deal their absent running back.

PITTSBURGH, PA - With the Steelers poised to play their third game of the season Monday with no indication of when Le’Veon Bell might decide to show up, the team is listening to trade offers for the star running back.
Bell hasn’t signed his $14.5 million franchise tag contract and isn’t obligated to do so until after week 10 of the NFL season. The Steelers apparently don’t want to wait nearly another two months for Bell to report.
But Bell first needs to sign his contract before the Steelers could deal him, and he probably wouldn’t do that without first negotiating a long-term contract with a team interested in trading for him. While that certainly complicates matters, there has been no shortage of speculation as to possible destinations for Bell.

CBS Sports has identified the Colts, Jets, 49ers and Texans as possible landing spots. USA Today thinks Bell could be bound for the Colts, Jets, Patriots, Dolphins, Eagle or Packers. Sports Illustrated thinks the Colts, Patriots, Redskins or Packers make sense. NBC Sports noted that a Packers offense featuring quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Bell “would be lethal.”
How this will play out is anyone’s guess at the moment. Stay tuned.
