Steelers Name Rob King New Play-By-Play Announcer

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Steelers have a new radio play-by-play announcer. iHeartMedia, which owns team flagship station WDVE-FM, announced Thursday that Rob King will be join color analyst Craig Wolfley in the broadcast booth.
King has been a member of the Steelers Audio Network's pregame and postgame broadcast team since 2014. , He replaces Bill Hillgrove, who retired from Steelers broadcasts earlier this year after 30 years, but remains the play-by-play voice on Pitt Panthers football and basketball games.
"Rob has done a great job in his 25-year career in the Pittsburgh market and is very respected among his peers in the business," Steelers president Art Rooney II said in a release. "We are excited for Steelers Nation to hear his unique perspective and excitement of making our fans
feel they are in the stadium witnessing the action on the field."
