Steelers Plan Major Heinz Field Addition
The new addition is expected to be completed in time for the 2020 football season.
PITTSBURGH, PA - The Steelers are planning a major addition to Heinz Field at the conclusion of the current football season. The Pittsburgh-Allegheny County Sports & Exhibition Authority, which owns the stadium, is expected to approve the plans.
The Steelers will pay for the addition, which is expected to be completed in time for the 2020 football season.
According to SEA documents, the Steelers plan to modify the stadium's FedEx Great Hall, relocate the Steelers ticket window and office area and build a new Steelers flagship store.
