Steelers Signing Super Bowl Winning Quarterback Russell Wilson
The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing a Super Bowl champion, according to multiple reports - and the quarterback himself.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Steelers annointed starting quarterback Kenny Pickett should be nervous. The Steelers are about to sign nine-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson to a one-year deal, according to multiple reports.
Wilson posted a Steelers video on social media Sunday night. He is expected to sign a contract with the team on Wednesday when the NFL's year officially begins.
Why should Pickett be worried about Wilson's arrival? Well, Wilson, 35, threw for 26 touchdowns and eight interceptions last season for the Denver Broncos last season. Pickett had six touchdowns and four interceptions before being injured and then benched in favor of former third-string quarterback, who led the team to the playoffs.

Wilson's imminent signing implies that the Steelers have little or no interest in retaining Rudolph. They most likely will use a pick in the NFL Draft to land a a third-string quarterback.
Before his tenure with the Broncos, Wilson spent a decade with the Seattle Seahawks. There, he was selected to nine Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl in 2013.
