Steelers Sputter To Season's End, Tomlin's Coaching Future Uncertain
Another blowout loss in the playoffs left Steelers coach Mike Tomlin unwilling to address his future with the team.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Steelers were pummeled yet again in a playoff game Monday, and coach Mike Tomlin abruptly exited a post-game news conference when asked about his future with the team.
The Buffalo Bills defeated the Steelers 31-17, ending the team's season after a 10-7 regular season record.
Following the game, Tomlin left his news conference when a reporter began a question with "Mike you have a year left on your contract..."

Speculation has been rampant recently that Tomlin might step down from the Steelers after 17 seasons as head coach. He has a 173-100-3 record, two Super Bowl appearances and one win and 11 trips to the playoffs. He has never had a losing season.
However, Monday's defeat is the seventh consecutive year the Steelers have gone without a playoff win.

The Steelers have had just three coaches since 1969 - Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and Tomlin.
