Steelers Top Titans: Reaction To Team's Dominating Victory
The Steelers manhandled the opposition on a rainy Sunday in Tennessee.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Steelers improved to an impressive 3-0 record in the NFL preseason with an 18-6 win over the Tennessee Titans in Nashville Sunday night. Here's what football writers across the country are saying about the game:
Jordan Dejani, CBS Sports: "The Steelers dominated for the majority of this matchup, and it was clear in the box score. All three quarterbacks had at least decent performances while the top two signal callers on the Titans had games they would like to quickly forget."

Jelani Scott, NFL.com: "Both the Steelers and Titans played the majority of their starters but it was the first-teamers in black and yellow that walked away with the W after a dominant showing. The Steelers' first-team defense made so made so many plays in the first half that acknowledging their success started to sound like a roll call. Stephon Tuitt. Cameron Heyward. T.J. Watt and even the new kid in class, Devin Bush - each player made an impression."
Jeremy Fowler, ESPN.com: "Mason Rudolph has all but secured the No. 2 quarterback job. He entered the game inthe fourth series and threw a 41-yard touchdown strike to James Washington -- the offense's emerging X Factor after a big-play August -- on his first passing attempt. Joshua Dobbs has shown the ability to make plays under duress but struggles too often with accuracy on short passes."

Erik Bacharach, The Tennessean: "The Titans’ offensive line crumbled, leaving quarterbacks exposed and leading to seven sacks by the Steelers. Sound familiar? Marcus Mariota was sacked a career-high 42 times last year. The interior of the offensive line’s porousness was the team’s Achilles heel all season."
Mike B. Herndon, Music City Miracles: "The Titans quarterbacks were under siege all night, getting sacked seven times, including a safety early on. The offensive line just looked overmatch by a tough Steelers front. In fact, this game reminded me a LOT of last year’s preseason matchup with Pittsburgh when Stephon Tuitt and Cam Heyward wrecked shop."
