Stoney Richards Returning To Y108
The veteran DJ will co-host the station's new morning show.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Stoney Richards, a fixture at country music station Y108 (WDSY-FM) from 1998 through 2014, returns to the station next month to co-host its morning drive show.
Richards and Kristen Buccigrossi will host the new “Y’d Awake” with producer Cowboy Curt. The new morning team debuts January 2.
“Stoney Richards means country in Western PA,” Michael Spacciapolli, senior vice president and market manager of station owner Entercom Pittsburgh, said in a statement. “He’s beloved by Pittsburgh country fans and the Nashville hitmakers alike. We are thrilled to bring Stoney back home to Y108 every weekday.”

During his long previous tenure at Y108, Richards served as assistant program director, music director and afternoon show host. According to RadioInsight.Com, Richards most recently has been doing fill-in work at Y108 and sister Entercom station KDKA-AM.
