Storied Pittsburgh Restaurant To Close After 40 Years
A landmark suburban Pittsburgh eatery soon will shut its doors.
MT. LEBANON, PA — Bado's Pizza Grill and Ale House, a popular spot in Mt. Lebanon for the past four decades, will permanently close next week.
The Badarato family, which owns the eatery, made the closure announcement on the restaurant's Facebook page.
"Forty years ago, it all began with 'a cut and a coke for a buck' and has since evolved into a family staple of Mount Lebanon," the post stated.

"With heavy hearts, we are sad to say that Bado's will be saying goodbye to Beverly Road. We will remain open for operation every day between now and Nov. 22, when we will close our doors for the last time. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you—the customers who made these last 40 years possible and filled with so many wonderful memories.
"Without your continued support as a community, we would not be where we are today. And to our employees who have been with us every step of the way, working to make Bado’s what it is today—we simply cannot thank you enough."
