Student from Centre County Selected for Television Academy Internship
Lindsey Julian to Intern in the Scripted Series Development Department at the National Lampoon in Los Angeles

Lindsey Julian, of Julian, Pennsylvania, has been selected for the prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship Program. Julian is one of 40 students chosen by Television Academy members from across the country for the 2024 Summer Internship Program. The Foundation offers paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies annually to college students nationwide.
Julian is a 2024 graduate of Alfred University in Alfred, New York, who majored in film and social justice studies. Julian is a scripted series development intern this summer at the National Lampoon in Los Angeles, California, through the Foundation’s program.
Julian attended Bald Eagle High School in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.
“I've always known I was a writer, but it wasn't until I took a screenwriting class that I started to take the possibility of a future in the entertainment industry seriously,” said Julian. “While working on student film and theater projects, I got to know so many incredible, passionate people that encouraged me to keep creating. The collaborative nature of television is what inspires me because it allows me to not only connect with people in my own life but also with people all around the world.”
