Suburban Pittsburgh High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat
Bomb-sniffing dogs have been summoned to the scene.

UPDATED: No bomb was found at the school.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Norwin High School in suburban Pittsburgh was evacuated Tuesday morning after a bomb threat was discovered.
According to the school district website, high school students and staff were evacuated to another location on the high school campus while police bomb canines were summoned to the scene.

The district released a statement shortly after 1 p.m. that the Region 13 Canine Detection Unit and North Huntingdon Police searched the building and declared it safe for occupancy. Students and staff are returning to high school to complete the remainder of the school day.
About 400 students attend the high school, which is located in North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, about a half-hour drive from Pittsburgh.
