Suburban Pittsburgh Restaurant Shuts Its Doors

A popular Pittsburgh-area restaurant has gone out of business.

SOUTH PARK, PA — Blue Line Grille, a popular spot for people in Pittsburgh's South Hills, has closed.

The eatery in Champion Plaza on Brownsville Road served its last meal on Dec. 31. The announcement was made on social media.

"We want to thank you all for everything that you've done to support the Blue Line Grille as we served our guests in our local communities for the past four years," a post on the restaurant's Facebook page stated.

Regulars were unhappy that the restaurant closed.

"We always enjoyed your food and friendly staff," David Notkaren Cooke wrote on Facebok. "Sad to hear this."

There is no word yet on what eventually will occupy the former restaurant space.
