Suspects Arrested In 3 Pittsburgh Shooting Deaths

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two suspects were arrested Wednesday in connection with the fatal shooting of three people in separate incidents over the weekend.

At 4:43 p.m., members of the US Marshals Western PA Fugitive Task Force arrested Dashawn Hines, 19, who is accused of killing two men in Clairton on Saturday. Hines was taken into custody at a business in Pittsburgh's North Side.

At 6:35 p.m. on Saturday, county 911 was notified of a shooting in the 800 block of Miller Avenue. First responders found two men who had been shot.

Both were taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office identified one of the victims as Robert Allen Jones, 32. According to court documents, the other victim was Terez Russell.

Hines is charged with two counts of criminal homicide and is being held in the county jail.

Also on Wednesday, county sheriff's deputies arrested Arthur Davis, 39, of McKees Rocks, at a residence on the North Side.

Davis is accused of fatally shooting Shane Lee Shank.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. Saturday in Derby Alley behind the 800 block of Broadway Avenue in Stowe Township. First responders found that Shank had been shot multiple times.

Davis is charged with criminal homicide and is being housed in the county jail.
