Teen Charged In Pittsburgh-Area Double Homicide

A 16-year-old has been charged in the fatal shooting of two 17-year-olds.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with a double homicide last month in Braddock.

The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Pittsburgh on Wednesday took Jerell Rockymore into custody. He is charged with criminal homicide, receiving stolen property and illegal possession of a firearm.

In the Aug. 27 shooting, a county housing authority officer was in the area of Margaretta and Center streets when he heard multiple gunshots. The officer proceeded to Center Street and found two teens dead in the street.

The victims were Ramil Williamson and Nazir Parker, both 17.

Rockymore was found in a nearby residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital. After investigating the incident, police issued an arrest warrant for him.
