Teen Critically Injured After Fall On Pittsburgh's North Shore

The incident occurred early Friday, police said.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A 17-year-old teen fell from a handrail down three flights of stairs on the Riverwalk near River Rescue early Friday.

Police were called to the scene at around 2 a.m. Medics transported him to the hospital with a head injury in critical, but stable condition. He was conscious and talking while en route to the hospital.

The Mobile Crime Unit responded to the scene.
