PITTSBURGH, PA - If you're curious how your child's high school teachers stack up against high school instructors in neighboring districts, wonder no more. Niche, a Pittsburgh-based research company that studies various components of education, has released its 2020 rankings of Pennsylvania high schools with the best teachers.
The Pittsburgh Public Schools have four high schools among the state's top 200 for best teachers: Pittsburgh science and Technology Academy, CAPA, Taylor Allderdice and Carrick.
Niche based the ranking on "student and parent ratings of teachers, teacher salaries, teacher absenteeism, teacher tenure, student-teacher ration and the Niche academics grade for the school. Read more on how this ranking was calculated.
