Threat Boosts Police Presence At Pittsburgh-Area High School

The threat was made on Tuesday, district officials said.

VANDERGRIFT, PA - Police presence will be boosted Wednesday at Kiski Area High School after the district received an unspecified threat Tuesday. Police searched the building Tuesday and determined the threat was non-credible.

“Out of an abundance of caution there will be an increased policepresence at the high school campus,” the district saidin a statement. “The safety of our students and staff members remains

the focus of our actions.”
