Three Pittsburgh-Area Kmarts Close For Good

Find out here how many Kmarts are left around town.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Three area Kmart stores closed for good on Sunday, leaving southwestern Pennsylvania virtually void of the once ubiquitous retailer.

Kmart stores in Pleasant Hills, Shaler and New Kensington all shuttered for good on Sunday. The West View Kmart is closing soon and will be converted to a U-Haul facility. That will leave Kmart's only location in the Pittsburgh area in Leechburg.

Kmart and parent company Sears are struggling to survive after filing for bankruptcy last year.
