[Pittsburgh, PA] - Juniper Village at South Hills is strengthening the wellness of South Hills’ older adults by offering the Silver Sneakers fitness program. SilverSneakers is a structured exercise initiative designed to support physical health, mobility, and overall well-being among older adults and available at no extra cost in many Medicare Advantage and Medigap plans.

SilverSneakers programming is designed to provide both consistency and variety, helping older adults build sustainable routines that support long-term wellness.

Class structure varies throughout the week, with sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays focusing on range-of-motion exercises and memory support, while Tuesdays and Thursdays emphasize cardiovascular activity. This balance allows individuals to engage in both gentle movement and more active exercise within a supportive, guided environment.
