Trio Of New Restaurants Open In Pittsburgh

Get the details here on three new eateries that have opened in the city.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Three new restaurants have opened in the city's Strip District.

Atria's, Juniper Grill and the 1930 Cigar Bar all have had soft openings on Railroad Street. A formal grand opening is planned for April 1.

All three establishments are owned by Pittsburgh restaurateurs Pat and Nancy McDonnell.

The Atria's opening represents a return to the city for the popular chain. Atria's has been strictly a suburban destination since its PNC Park location closed nearly a decade ago.

Juniper Grill is launching its first location within the city. Its other restaurants in Western Pennsylvania are in Cranberry, Peters, Pleasant Hills and Murrysville.
