Trump Planning Event In Pittsburgh Next Week: Report
President Donald Trump's campaign staff reportedly is planning to have him in Pittsburgh again soon.

PITTSBURGH, PA — President Donald Trump reportedly is planning to hold a campaign event in Pittsburgh next week, and local elected officials aren't happy about it.
Maggie Haberman, the White House correspondent for The New York Times, tweeted Wednesday evening that the Trump campaign likely would hold the event late next week. It would not be a rally, according to Haberman.
The fact that Trump - who is still infected with the coronavirus - might be coming to the city irked Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald.

Reports of the impending visit come as recent polling shows Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden with a commanding lead in Pennsylvania- a state Trump won in 2016 and one he likely will need to win again to capture a second term. A Monmouth University poll released Tuesday has Biden leading Trump 54 percent to 42 percent.
