Two Pens Games, Auto Show Top Pittsburgh Weekend Events

No need to stay at home this weekend. Patch has your guide to the coolest activities around town.

PITTSBURGH, PA - If you’re a hockey fan, you can’t ask for more this weekend. As they battle for a place in the NHL playoffs, the Penguins play twice at PPG Paints Arena. Victories are critical in both games as the Pens would be a mere wild card team if the playoffs were occurring right now.

On Saturday, they take on the Calgary Flames at 1 p.m. Don’t expect an easy matchup, as the Flames currently are in second place in the Pacific Division, but do expect a 500-piece Pens jigsaw puzzle as a promotional offering.

On Sunday, the Pens play the New York Rangers at 1 p.m. Though the Rangers currently are out of playoff position and in sixth place in the Metropolitan Division, playing a division rival with a worse record has presented challenges for the Pens this season.
