Two Pittsburgh Schools On Modified Lockdown Following Threat

The lockdown will be in place all day Friday.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Pittsburgh's Brashear High School and the adjacent South Hills Middle School are operating on modified lockdowns Friday after an unspecified threat was made against Brashear.

A Pittsburgh Public Schools spokeswoman said police investigated the threat and did not find it credible but the lockdown is occurring as a precaution.

A modified lockdown means students will stay in the buildings for the entire day and only people with prior appointments will be allowed into the schools.
