PITTSBURGH, PA — There's no Steelers game this weekend as the team is on its bye week, but if you think there's nothing to do around town, you're selling the city short. Here are five Patch recommendations for weekend fun:

It's the first weekend in town for the spectacular show that allows visitors to experience the works of Vincent van Gogh via 60,000 frames of video, 90 million pixels, more than 500,000 cubic feet of projections and more. Although van Gogh never visited Pittsburgh, some city-themed attractions have been worked into the immersive mix.

After a year's hiatus due to the pandemic, the popular annual airport auction is going live again. You can bid on a diverse selection of items ranging from pieces of jewelry to large abandoned vehicles.
