Vehicle Slams Into Pittsburgh Restaurant

PITTSBURGH, PA — A vehicle smashed through the Denny's restaurant on Greentree Road in Scott Township Wednesday morning.
Scott police, EMS and firefighters responded to the scene around 9:15 a.m.
The fire chief on scene told WPXI-TVthat three people were taken to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries. No Denny's employees were harmed.

WPXI reported the incident occurred when a 91-year-old man hit the gas instead of the brake.
The restaurant will be closed indefinitely.
