Victoria's Secret To Close Dozens Of Stores
The lingerie chain is the latest bricks-and-mortar retailer to dramatically downsize.

Victoria’s Secret will shutter 53 underperforming stores in North America this year, the owner of the lingerie chain said.
L Brands Inc., which also owns the more successful Bath & Body Works chain, made the announcement as it reported disappointing holiday season sales.
The company typically closes about 15 Victoria’s Secret locations each year.

“Given the decline in performance at Victoria’s Secret, we have substantially pulled back on capital investment in that business versus our history,’’ the company said in a statement.
L Brands did not immediately announce which stores will close. There are nine Victoria’s Secret stores in southwestern Pennsylvania and they are located in:
