Walmart Should Replace Ross Park Mall Sears, Poll Indicates

Hundreds of people responded to a Patch survey of what should go into the soon-to-be-vacant Sears space.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA - Patch asked, nearly 350 of you answered and the results are in as to what you want to see take the place of the Ross Park Mall Sears, which will close by the end of April.

The winner is Walmart.

Perhaps the store would be an awkward fit among the mall’s trendier, more upscale retailers such as Nordstrom. But Walmart was the top choice among respondents in the admittedly unscientific poll.
