The Waterfront Adding New National Chain Bar

HOMESTEAD, PA - The Waterfront is adding a new national dueling piano chain to its lineup of shops and eateries. The Big Bang will open Jan. 17 in the former Sing Sing location.

"The Big Bang is not your average piano bar," Big Bang co-owner Sam Leatherwood said in a statement. "The entertainers are among the best in the country, incorporating multi-instruments including drums, bass, guitar and a dozen others into their show to create a fast-paced, high-energy entertainment experience that will be unlike anything else in Pittsburgh."

The bar will be open Thursday (college night), Friday, and Saturdays from 7:30 p.m.to 2 a.m. There will be three piano players at all time and the former Sing Sing space has new sound and lighting systems.

The Big Bang's other locations are in Chicago, Las Vegas, Nashville, Cleveland and Columbus.

Emily Wittmer, The Waterfront's marketing director, said The Big Bang is just the first of several new tenants the complex will be announcing this year.
