As WDVE-FM's Sean McDowell Exits, Chad Tyson Arrives
WDVE has named a replacement for the retiring McDowell.

PITTSBURGH, PA - As the legendary Sean McDowell departs WDVE-FM after Wednesday's shift, the station has named his successor for the afternoon drive shift: Chad Tyson, who comes from Eagle 107.5 in Wheeling, WV.
McDowell is retiring from WDVE after 26 years. Tyson starts there Thursday and will be on the air from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
"We're thrill to have Chad join the WDVE family," station program director John Msochitta said. "Tyson's charismatic personality, accompanied by his extensive knowledge of music and sports, make him the perfect fit for our listeners."

Said Tyson: Tyson said, “One of my goals since starting my radio career has always been to work at 102.5 WDVE in Pittsburgh. When I got the call, my wife asked me how it felt and I said, ‘Remember when Santonio Holmes caught that game-winning pass in Super Bowl XLIII and we beat the Cardinals? It feels like that.’”
Tyson also previously served as midday host at 98.7 The Gater in West Palm Beach, Fla.
