Western PA 6th Grader Hit By Car In Front Of School
The student was walking to the school when he was hit by a vehicle Friday morning.
NORTH HUNTINGDON, PA — A sixth-grade student was struck by a car in front of Hillcreast Intermediate School Friday morning. The boy was hit while walking on Mockingbird Drive.
First responders took the unidentified student to an area hospital. His condition is unknown. District officials said in a statement only that the boy "is under the care of medical professionals."
The boy's family has been notified and school counselors and social workers will be available for students today.

It's unclear if the driver of the vehicle will face charges. North Huntingdon police are continuing to investigate the incident.
